    Rancho Quick lift. Wheelers Off Road Progressive AAL with Rancho RS9000's, braided brake lines & clutch line. BFG 32x11.50 15 All Terrain Tires Deck Plate Mod. Flowmaster 60 series muffler and Marlin Crawler Short Throw Shifter.
    I do have the upgraded harness with the heavy duty relays and I originally the Hella E-code lamps, just wanted to upgrade to black chrome for the look. I found Lasfit Auto Lighting and going to try their LED h4 bulbs out with my original black chrome housings and if it doesn't do anything for me I will put he Hella housings back in. Wish me luck!

    On our last adventure where we were all loaded up for being self sufficient and we came across a scale. We all weighed in at over 5500 lbs IIRC. All except for Zane that is. But we all know he is a light weight. :D

    The redhead was the heaviest at just under 5900 lbs.

    Just as I got the headlamps off my Taco and boxed up to be returned the mail lady showed up and I told her to "take these things away!"
    Now I am waiting on the LED bulbs.

    It looks like they offer a full front to back set of 1/8" skids for $335....that's actually pretty damn inexpensive.

    That's the first thing I notice with cheaply made/designed skids. All of the exposed bolt heads that will get messed up and you can't get a tool onto them to remove.

    You could probably get vice grips on those. If it's cnc cut I'm not sure why they wouldn't cut some square hole and use carriage bolts. I do like the center support on the front skids. I noticed that I've dented the frame where my 1 1/4" tube mounts to the 1st xmember.

    Am I missing what supports the rear of the tcase skid?

    of course, having many years of piece of mind, I am a BB fanboy. But of the 3/16" steel. Not the aluminum (expensive) not the 1/8" steel as they are the same price as the 3/16" (might be a little cheaper to ship). I paid $700 to my door recently.

    Yeah straight up flat 1/8" steel skids aren't gonna hold up well. Worse than the stock ones I say since the stock are bent to shape for rigidity and some reinforcements

    It's funny how common that is, with the stock paper style filters they only fit into the airbox one way so you can't put them in backwards if you tried (I've tried just to make sure I wasn't doing it backward lol). But the reusable ones go in both ways for some reason.

    I guess since the paper ones are finned on both sides so I can see the confusion when putting the K&N or aFe ones in.
