We got our strawfoot window cover. They sent along some adhesive magnetic strips to hold it in place. It’s very clean and slick, way nicer than something I could have made. DE7B1C26-4F23-4299-A3FC-A8E73EBF3D00.jpg5BAA4A1B-3263-4679-B370-4B6789C11BF0.jpg

Has anybody installed the new awning brackets? I just received mine and I’m pretty sure the smaller brackets are spacers but not positive

I don't have them but here are some pictures someone posted. How did you manage to snag those since they aren't online yet? I'm waiting to here back from them about the new crossbars so I can mount my solar panels.

Zpacks isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Yes they are super light weight but they wouldn’t hold up in a wedge or RTT setup.

I ordered them about three months ago, originally thought I was getting the older style ones but they sent me these.

    Love the swing out desk!

How is working with the extruded track? Considering making something like yours soon, with the piano hinge too that can still support weight when getting up into the tent area

The table is awesome. My friend has one in his van build and I saw @Eazy.E install one in his drifter.

I had my aluminum extrusion cut to order. So it was basically like an erector set. You can buy it and cut it yourself but I don’t really have the space or tools.

My friend is a pretty talented woodworker so I had him do the lids for me. Super simple job for him that would have taken me forever to get done and I would have definitely messed it up.

First stage of interior. More cubicles to come + small removable galley with grey water tank. I'd like to get that Lagun table. Also like to build-in one very comfortable seat for reading and computer work. Nice thing about a full size truck is the room for such luxuries.:)

I designed the interior to accommodate the stock bed cushions for stealth camping.

Was trying to come up with a simpler way to lock the rear hatch when I'm inside. I had been using some bungee cords but they were either too loose or too tight of a fit. Played around with some paracord and came up with this locking sliding loop. Hooks onto welded tab at lower rear corner of frame. Easy to keep hatch tightly closed and easy to release. Only hang down a couple of inches so they don't get in the way of anything when not in use. Plus I'll never lose them and could also hang something light like a Luci lantern off them.

The rear-top corner of the side panels worked out perfect for switch placement. It is accessible via the rear or side panels as well as from the bedding area (with a floor panel removed of course). I have one button operate the driver and rear lights while the other controls just the passenger side.

    LED specifics are 5000k, 12v, cuttable, 8mm width, 82 lumens/1.3watts per foot.

Normally it was taking me nearly 5 mins to close and latch up the tent and that's without the small panels in place. Today I made a large paracord loop and attached to upper bar with a cow hitch. Got the tent closed to the point where everything looks good then put my foot in the loop, a little downward pressure and one side was latched. Slid loop over to other side and repeat. Closed up in under a minute and with all the panels in place. Then remove loop and tie it up somewhere you can find for next time. Oh and 550 paracord is as big as you can use to fit between bar and extrusion.
