Yeah everything worked as it should once I got all the plugs re-attached.

Install complete!! Thanks everyone for listening to me vent throughout the install. I'll get some pictures once the sun is down.

I got everything put back together then realized I had these leftover lol... anyone know where they belong?

Screwdriver did the trick for me. Hardest part was getting the duct tape off after feeding it through.

AH I think you're right. Too bad I'm not going to take the door panels back off to find out haha. Must have got the first two in then reached for my beer.

You're not alone. I had to crawl to my passenger side to get out (would have rolled down the window but keys were inside the house) a few months ago while installing sound deadener...

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
For those who dont know this trick, I've been doing it for years on nuts or bolts that might drop into an inaccessible location.
Wrap the socket tightly with about a 1/4 in tape past the top of the socket once. Pulling it fairly tight will make the tape want to curl over.
    20190531_183406.jpg
Then fold the tape inside. You will have to push the socket on the nut but it wont come out until you pull it out.
    20190531_183345.jpg
Same thing for putting the nut back on. Just press the nut into the socket. If tape starts to wear, just replace it.

That’s great, glad to hear! Hopefully you guys will be on tomorrow as I am doing mine tomorrow morning lol.

Sorry I’m not sure about those.

Edit: as the others said may be speakers, they do look familiar when I upgraded mine.

Ok. Doors are ALMOST back to normal. Only problem I’m still having is the touch sensor to lock/unlock on my door handle is not working. So gonna look into that

But here are quick clips of the install after math! Challenging in some ways, but truly not hard. Only honest challenge is the boot and then for me getting the harness to sit in pillars properly since I have that moonroof drain tube.

If anyone has any questions please let me know. I feel like a pro now after all the little challenges I had haha

    Ahem, the sun went down...

    ummm... How to put this...

I've been directed to ask that these become available for 2018 4Runner's. Delivery next week would be fine and, according to her, I have lots of time to install them. Or will have. That last part sounded like a bit of a threat, so I guess I have to ask. Any plans? I know next week isn't happening, and can explain to her that they aren't even released, but if there is a plan it would help. Some...

She's watching a Lifetime movie right now and can't be bothered, so any insight in the next couple hours would help.

Did you install my Taco puddle pods and now looking for the Runner versions?
Well.. you’re in luck. The molds for the T4R puddles are getting CNC’d as we speak.(Tacoma pods won’t fit, it’s a totally different mirror) so I would say 3-4weeks

Very happy with the results from these. My neighbors are probably wondering why I keep locking and unlocking my truck :D but they are so awesome!

There's something that lights up a bit down there, but it's like a candle compared to yours.
