The original 4-pin clockspring on my '97 SR5 controlled the horn and cruise control. The replacement clockspring has 6-pins. The steering wheel connector to the clockspring has only 4 pin receivers. What would the other 2 pins have controlled on '95 to early '97 SR5s. What options were available on steering wheels.

The only options you could ever get on this generation is cruise control, airbag, and the horn.

You sure you don’t have aftermarket cruise control?

Positive. I've seen other CS w/o cruise that have 2 pins.

The CS probably fits other Toyota models. Some of the cars had other options on the steering wheel.
