Tow harness wiring diagram

Would like to tap into the wire for the tow reverse lights, but not sure which color it is. Is there a wiring diagram?

I did just this exact same thing on my trailer. 5 pin flat connectors and the needed 7 round to 5 flat are available at Bass pro shops... Noticed them at Auto zone after i bought mine.
The wire for reverse on my plug for the trailer was blue.

Pop the taillight out. There will be 2 wires going to the reverse light bulb. The ground will be white/black. Connect to the other one.

Thank you. I want to install an LED auxiliary back-up light as well as back up horn. I'm tired of these people with their heads in the phone and I'm trying to get out of the parking space.

 

The tow reverse has its own relay and fuse. It can "handle" better the added items than the reverse lamp in the tail lamp.

When you get them and open the package, your reaction will be, "That's it? Those don't look very impressive". But, after you install them, you will be blown away at how bright they are. And the best part is that they also shine light straight out to the sides where you need to see if you're going to sideswipe the wifes Lexus.
