sigh...people all you need is a hairdryer and a flathead. Stick your finger under the flathead and use it to leverage off the lettering after you heat it up. Whatever adhesive is left just goo gone it. Thats all you have to do.

OP is removing for the second time. The first time I just used fishing line no heat at all. Rolled the tape residue off with my fingers. A little 3m adhesive remover and polish. Done. Then rewaxed.

The problem is that you live in Utah. Take a weekend trip to visit us in the south or just swing by Chris' for a cool beverage, By the time he gets done showing you his "carnage" videos and various Hello Kitty collectibles that he has squirreled away, they would have fallen off from the heat.

    just saying...

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Man that's to bad I would reinstall them and if you messed them to bad just go buy new ones on Ebay there cheap.

I detailed cars for about 3 years and we had a rubber wheel on a DA that would take off any adhesive without harming the paint. "only on metal" i found that out the hard way trying to take a bumper sticker off a car with it.

Same method I used. At first I had a very slight shadow where the emblems once were. I think it's un-noticable now.
