    I just listened to the entirety of George Carlin’s hardcore history of ww1 (blueprint for armageddon) and boy that war is so downplayed in history books as far as importance to the 20-21 century. If you have the time to sink I would recommend it, especially if you’re a history nerd. He goes into so many different facets of that war, the causes and decisions made so needlessly is honestly hard to bear when the consequences are realized.

    Random as fuck but I’ve never really known the level of detail of the time period, it really blew my mind a bit.
