I just posted on the Clazzio thread about how much I like my Clazzio leather seat covers. I actually prefer them to the OEM leather.

I hated the factory cloth seats and the pattern it comes with. To me it looks like it belongs on an ‘80’s era Yugo. I honestly almost didn’t buy the truck because of the seats. I found them ugly and uncomfortable. A simple mod to the seat height/angle, and the Clazzio covers took care of those issues.

Now I’m really in love with the truck!

Its worse now with the new wheels and the pups want the windows open on dusty/muddy roads... Well really they want them open on all roads. Sometimes I fight with the 2yr old about keeping the windows shut until I put an end to it by locking the windows.

I put Clazzio's in my truck and I like them better than OEM or whatever crap they put in the TRD or the Pro.

    Looking for a Taco
Thanks for the info everyone! I've been looking at a lot of builds on here and Tacos for sale but I've been skimming over the ones without Leather Seats.

I was trying to figure out why there wasn't leather. I know we would destroy non-leather seats though.

Clazzio seats look like they may fill the void.

Plus it's hard to find leather seats unless its a Limited, Pro, or 2018 or newer OR or S with the premium package.

Looks like I can expand my search and look for Clazzio seats to fill the void.

Toyota uses 'Softex'............SofTex™ is a thermoplastic polyurethane and a primary advantage that it holds over leather seating is a higher level of breathability and better thermal qualities. What this means for the average driver, is that SofTex will stay cooler in the sun and has a better ability to reflect the sun’s rays. SofTex will also absorb moisture slower and release moisture faster than leather or vinyl seats when you have to wipe away spills.

All of today's "leather" seats are vinyl coated (except in high end $100K and up vehicles). Therefore leather conditioner is unnecessary as it will never come into contact with any real leather which is usually only on the portion of the seat one sits on. Toyota doesn't even use real leather at all....If you put a drop of water on a seat and it does not absorb, it's vinyl coated leather

303 is great for vinylized "leather" or Softex™

Clazzio covers was one of the first things I have done to my truck and is a “must have” imo. Every time I get into my truck I fall in love all over again.

It took me about two hours by myself. It kind of sucks, but when you finish one seat it looks so good it motivates you to finish. Well worth the money and time! You don’t have to remove anything. Just the head rests (which is obviously simple...) it’s not difficult, just tedious.

Leather seats are an expensive option because they're better at everything. Get the leather.

People getting cloth and leather covers are a funny bunch to me.

Anyway get the tech and premium package and love life.

I kind of look at as insurance, cover them with something nice. Pull the covers off when you get clear of the truck and brand new seats underneath. Voila !

Except that if you have a dog and don't want risk soiling your seats, something other than cloth seats is advisable.
