    Because the brakes are either assembled incorrectly or adjusted incorrectly.

    Well I’m troubleshooting and have a better mechanic now so let me worry about all that I really do appreciate your helpful insight though.

    Do you wish you would have just takin to a brake shop instead of trying to save a few dollars?
    At least with a brake shop if there’s a problem you can take it back.

    Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
    Lay everything out the way it came apart.
    For some reason, Toyota set my brakes up with each shoe having a different back plate. Good luck getting the brakes back together if you use the same pair of shoes on one wheel.
    The spring on the bottom of the shoes goes behind the tab.
    Those are the only things that stuck me odd when I did my brakes for the first time.
