Hey guys, so for anyone wanting to do Pilot Rock tomorrow, let's meet here -

34.305033, -117.310557 (coords for the staging area)

Or just put "Pilot Rock Staging Area" into google maps and you'll get the same thing.

That's the address for the staging area where the Pilot Rock trail begins, it's a paved road off the highway that dead ends at an cul-de-sac overlooking Silverwood Lake. Usually a few cars and trucks parked there with trailers since this is also a popular dirt bike/atv trail.

    10am work for everyone?

Bring your HAM radio if you have one!

The google maps for that address is putting it on the highway, not the staging area off the highway. Might lead to some confusion.

yea, that's the location of the GPS coordinates and the Maps link in the Google Doc, and what I think Ryan is talking about in his post, but the address he posted takes you to a spot on the 173, passed the turn-off for the staging area.

34.305033, -117.310557 are the coords, or just put "Pilot Rock Staging Area" into google maps and it'll tell you exactly where to go

Supposed to be sunny and warm in Hesperia tomorrow (where we start) but the closer we get to Lake Arrowhead the more likely we might run into some rain and thunderstorms, Lake Arrowhead has a 40% chance of thunderstorms happening (we'll be at higher elevation for most of the trail).

    Sounds fun :mudding:

Just a heads up to be prepared for two different kinds of weather lol

Thanks for the photos! They look great. Do you happen to have any of me failing to go up that optional hard line?
