Been a while since I checked in. Hello, all.

Goofing around looking for my next project 1st Gen and found this.

My question is:

Is this a factory color? I have never seen this color or the picture just showing an odd color. I have an email out to the company asking for the VIN, so I can find out later this week.

It actually appears to be a second gen paint color, Indigo Ink Pearl 8P4 available from 2005-2008.

 

I agree. I knew the color was known to be applied to 2nd gens, it just threw me to see it on a 1st gen.

If the thing stays on the lot for another week, I might take the 2 hour drive to check it out.

Yeah I remember having dish network or something like 15 years ago and seeing parts of the races on some off road channel. Early 2000s is when I realized, I was mainly hiking/mountaineering guy, camping and 4x4s go together really well and I can camp a lot more comfortably lol
