Rust patch on frame - any thoughts?

    Hi all -
    Looking to figure out how to stop this becoming a bigger problem in the future. It looks like water (from the air con?) is exiting from this part of the frame and cuasing it to rust up. Looks like surface rust only at this stage, so planning on drying it out, wire brushing it and painting over it with some rustproofing.

    Any other suggestions from you guys?

    decals, morale patches, headlights, tail lights, toytech lift w 5100s, Falken Wildpeaks.....
    Reroute the ac drain. Easy to do, just need a bit of hose.

    Frame rust is well known and in particular the A/C drain as a known cause at that location is also a known issue.

    Dry, wire brush, rust converter, prime, paint and anti-corrosion over that. Wash - rinse - repeat.

    Oh, search the forum. There's probably hundreds of threads. There's at least one on how to extend the A/C drain.
