it’s cool, but limits bed space, doesn’t open all the way, so had to go another route. Now need to submerge taco 10ft below the sea level and see if it leaks in the bed :D

Can i see a side photo of all the flaps up? i heard the MX4s lean up against the cabin of the truck, just wondering if that's true

Edit: like this(this one is by undercover), idk why but my google-fu has failed to show a photo of the mx4 in the upright position on a Tacoma IMG_20190601_194832.jpg

Are you saying you can still see your Save the Whales sticker when it's flipped up like that?

Might be a bit late, but when drilling the drain holes in the bed, careful with the driver's side one as people have knicked/drilled into the gas filler pipe. I remember reading that here on; Trollcoma World.

Used a stepper drill to get it to the size i wanted, factory is a bit small for the amount of water that retained inside the bed (there was crap clogging the holes up), and i accidentally pierced the top of the fill hose. Toyota covered it under warranty but that was because no one knew what the hell was going on. It took a few days before i realized what i had done and that it was my fault ....

It was punctured for at least a week since i had a full tank of gas when i did drilled the hole larger. Gas only dumped out when you try to fill it... that was when i learned about it.

You will not see a check engine light until the valve opens up further down the tube
that's when the confuser will realize the leak.

@Norilsk don't be like me, don't drill into the fill hose.

Edit: thanks to google images saving my photos and time stamps; got the cover on June 16,2018 - drilled the hole on the 23rd, found the hole on the 28th.

Ouch Lol, K well it wasn't even your post I was thinking about, so don't feel bad your not the only one to do it then.

Glad I put my cover on in the winter and said F' it for putting in the drains cause there was still snow in the bed.
I had the step bit in my hand and said, naw I'll wait till the snow melts out, or I would have done the exact same thing. Procrastination and lazyness saved my ass.

LOL still have not installed the drains in my cover yet... been almost 2 years.

I figured you just drove down Barton St on a windy day, blew in just like leaves.

Buddy of mine used to live near Barton and Victoria... Alley behind his house had more meth pipes, needles and hookers than leaves LOL

Driving to work one day his bed cover flips up on the highway and some bum stuck his head out... Lol
