I did them on the truck. I did 7 coats, left a half inch gap when I masked. Peeled off perfectly.

I wish I had the log bed at times. The extra room would be nice!

Washed it yesterday before the sun was all the way up....proceeded to rain that afternoon....pay no attention to the project in the background.

Why would he do that? He's been to Tuscaloosa...and they fired him. Just because he's an alumnus? I think he's having fun beating Alabammer. No, he has built this program and has no aspirations to prove anything else in Alerbamer . "Grow where you're planted", is one of his quotes. Maybe to the Pros? Meh. He's already a legend around these parts. Hell, I would vote for him for president!

LOL, maybe TW needs a football forum. Maybe they do and I just haven't found it yet.

I seem to remember a certain coach currently at Alabama saying the same thing when he renewed his contract at LSU......just sayin'......

Welp, found the football thread in Sports & something. Dang, so many interesting topics here.

Anyway, I am admittedly prejudiced, but Dabo seems to be "cut from a different cloth". His motivations are not money. His first raise was divided among his assistants. Most of which are still with him. I also think his wife and kids like it too. Oldest is on the team as is Venables', maniac defensive coordinators, son. I graduated from Clemson and it is a great place to be for many reasons. It's grown too much lately but still a small town. Lakes literally out the back door. I could see snow on the mountains in winter, the lake, and a great view of the stadium from my freshman dorm room. I could walk or bike the whole town. Just great school spirit even in the down years. Great rivalry with the coots from SCar. Georgia too when the put us on the schedule (we have a home and home scheduled for about '24-'25?). Nah, this is his baby. I think he will be around a while.

Nice chatting with you. Imagine the moderators will move this hijacked thread!!

Haha I don't think so. The fine print says you need to spend $598 to get $100 off. Unless maybe you get some recovery gear to bring it up to the limit. Not sure how that would work.

Do these really work? I remember having one on my ‘09 and never really sure I’d ur did. My ‘17 has the weakest paint I’ve ever had on a vehicle. I have quite a few rock chips on my hood. How does this one get applied? Thanks

I’m thinking about de-badging mine. What method did you/are you using? Thanks

Yes they protect the paint on the front of your hood. They have 3M tape on the underside of them that sticks to the paint, (Like the tailgate letters.) I have one on my Tacoma.

Just to offer some helpful advice: Cross-threaded bolts MOST likely occurred by using a tool to start them (esp a power tool). Never use a tool to start, Always start connectors by hand and then apply a tool if needed. Never start a bolt/nut with a tool, no matter how tempted you may be.

(the castleated nut was already started prior to impact gun - not an issue, only quoted that line becuz that's when the gun was mentioned)
