Like I said not your thing, cool. I dont remember asking your opinion. Also just a life tip..dont talk shit about people's wife's decisions on tats. Some folks get hostile about that kinda thing.

Stop, look at what you are doing and re think your approach.

I have some shitty tats, but that goes hand in hand with being a former sailor. You can talk and shut about how sucky my tats are. But, they are mine and I like them. It just makes me think you are a raging jerkyface because of the holier than thou stance here. Good luck in making friends...

 

Art is one of those things that is kinda personal. Your examples, I'm not so fond of but someone liked them enough to let you cover a giant surface with them.
Who am I to criticize or question their decision?

 

Just for the record, I don’t like any of the tattoos you posted because their style is really unappealing to me (I like traditional/neo-traditional), and those tattoos look like iPad art, in a bad way.

Also, since were opinion sharing today..

Art is incredibly subjective, personal, and open to interpretation.

You should be proud of the work you did, most of us don’t have your amount of talent. I certainly don’t.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t think it looks like shit, and don’t want to look at it.

 

I agree art is subjective guys, just like music. As I said in my earlier posts, I wasn't trying to offend anyone initially, just suggesting 'better' artists. But TW keeps going... And now feelings are hurt.

As far as tattoos go, there are plenty of technical skills (separate from subject matter) that are not subjective. Just like music, you can't go singing out of key or off beat and calling it great. Things like outlines (or lack thereof), shading, etc all determine how long the tattoo is going to last/fade/blur over time. This stuff is separate from my opinion, and you would get the same response if you asked any tattooer.


I get the "its personal" arguement.. but if I showed you all my truck (without asking for opinions) I'm sure yall would respond.
