I want a diesel, but I don't want to purchase from any of the companies that offer diesels.

Our next vehicle will be the wife’s if all goes as planned. Kids will take over the Outback, and we will either end up in another Subaru, VW or Yota. Manual Transmission availablity may be a deciding factor. VWs have been fun to drive, but not at the top of my list. The Subaru Outback was nice, as it’s sits a little higher than other wagons. Not sure we will be getting that big a vehicle next time. Yotas are always worth shopping in my opinion

I have been all over the place. I've looked at the Toyota 86s, pretty nice. Older 4runners, ram 1500 ecodiesel, tundra (been down that road once before).
Right now I'm just looking at used stuff to see if I can score a killer deal. Theres a 96 chev 2500 for sale not far from me. It looked pretty clean. Might go check it out tomorrow.

I'm keeping the taco, so theres no real rush to get another vehicle.

I was wondering if anyone would list one of the Big 3 as an option. It seems like a lot of people stick with Toyota, Honda, Nissan, once they have their first one. Myself included. I haven't owned an "American" vehicle since 1988.

We had a 2012 Camry, nice cars. My wife decided she wanted an suv and ended up with a new Honda CRV.

My wife had a couple of Camrys. They were great cars. She's all about Accords now for whatever reason.

Ya, I’ve beyond the 3, or I think I have. They make good cheap used vehicles.

Does anyone else miss working on their vehicles? I just hit 75k on my taco and figured it would be time to change the pads and the shocks. Pads are still good. I pulled the shocks and they are still good too. I was disappointed I didnt have anything to work on. I guess that's why I've been looking at used stuff lately, get myself something to wrench on and bitch about how cheaply made it is.
