Eh my money and I don’t mind spending money on it because it’s what I enjoy. I enjoy the build and I enjoy the wheeling and considering this is just a toy. If it gets wrecked or I break something I just take the time to rebuild it.

But thanks for your concerns about my money situation ;)

Despite what many on here believe, most of us won't have these exact trucks for the remainder of our lives due to one circumstance or another...I spend the time and money on my truck not only because of the truck but more for the enjoyment of it and the fact that what I learn and experience will carry over into the next thing.

It's just like any other hobby really...the money you spend isn't likely going to be an investment that brings in financial returns. You do it cause you enjoy it and because you can.

Lol, well said. A lot of people here love to "share" their unasked for opinion about people projects or plans, or question whether it's a 'good use of that someone's money' lol

Well aware. I try to stay away from the pissing matches and the “gods” or “know it alls” on this forum. Normally stay away from this thread cause of that but wanted to post that ad and this adds a little excitement to everyone’s day haha.

I’m well aware the amount of money I’ve “dumped” into my truck. It’s a lot. But I don’t care. And I’ll probably build something else because there’s a lot of things i want to do different on my next one.

Why would anyone besides you even care how much you've sunk into it? :rofl:That's what's funny. I know Frontier Man, he didn't mean squat by it.
There's the usuals that know best how everyone should spend their monies. Frontier Man isn't one of them, that kinda made me chuckle for that reason
You definitely have to keep us posted on that rear end though

Statistically there is a very VERY slim chance this happens to him. Awfully kind of you to wish him good fortune on his driving, regardless.
Shit happens and it can happen to anyone. There are things we can do to minimize that risk but the risk will always be there if the truck is used

Anyone know if a ARB front bumper off a 1985-2007 land cruiser will fit a 1st gen?

Mines not worth anything now haha. The way I see your picture is 3 link the front. Ls swap and tube out the front with a full cage haha. All perspective.

Or rob all the good stuff off it and build a buggy like I want.

That's the way to go! Especially since he has a new daily. Might as well have a kick-ass toy too
