My First Toyota

I just picked up a nice used tacoma with 4x4. Has everything I need for a nice little camping and hunting truck but... It apparently has a soft top on it. Like a big soft sun roof. Was wondering if anyone else has one and where to find replacements. As this soft top is worn and is very noisy when on the freeway. Thanks y'all.

 

Picture would help; have you seen the truck in person? I ask because you said it apparently has a soft top. Or are you referring to a soft topper that sits over the bed?

That's strange..might want to hit up a upholstery shop. That's gonna be your best bet.

 

It's pretty sweet i didnt know it was there when i went to look at it. saw it last minute. but the problem is its super loud on the freeway

 

Clearly you have been duped and bought a truck with no roof. I would be pleased to take it off your hands and buy the truck for $500 cash

I see your pic now. Thought you were talking about a camper type soft top. That's strange. I guess get an upholstery shop to make you a new one. I'm curious what it looks like without it. How did they open it up?

 

Maybe it had a sunroof and it got broken so they just covered it rather than buying a new piece of glass.

 

yeah i kinda thought the same. it looks legit tho. it has a swing arm and locks into a slot. then you swing the little handle and it slides back

 

Post a few pics of it. I've never seen something like that on a taco
