    End to end isn't the measurement you want. You want top to bottom I.E. how much spce it puts between your axle and lesf spring. Thst will tell you the amount of lift you have in the back.

    Also, take a picture of the front shock. Most importantly the top of the shock where the coil sits in the bucket. But, also the shock body below the coil.

    Those appear to be Bilstein 5100s in front. And it apears he got the lift by setting the adjustment clip to pre-load the coils.

    Nothing wrong with 5100s that's what I'm running right now. You could probably improve your ride quality A LOT by getting the lift from the coils and setting the adjustment clips on your 5100s to the lowest setting.

    The coils you'd want are Old man Emu 2882 or 2883 or you could use some Eibach/ToyTec 620 pound coils.

    I ran my 5100s with preloaded coils for about a year... drove me bonkers with the rattles and harsh ride. I am now running the Eibach/ToyTecs and it is a million times nicer.

    As for the back... I hate lifting blocks, but there's nothing "wrong" with them per se. Do you haul around a lot of weight, or carry a heavy load camping etc?

    All in all though... the previous owner did not install a "bad" lift by any means. Sometimes when you buy a lifted truck you end up taking a step back and asking yourself what the fuck was that guy thinking.

    The lift on your truck, at this point, appears to be safe and servicable.

    Thank you for your feedback and time Uphillshunter. Glad to know its a decent lift kit. I'll look into new coils for sure.

    I don't usually haul any heavy items in the bed. Camping wise I keep that minimal as well. Only heavy loads I haul once a month is a trash load, or getting rid of old furniture.

    If you're looking for coils... hit up @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc that's where I got mine. They are grest people to work with. Getting lift from the coils, instead of the pre-load settings will make your truck ride much better.

    The blocks in the back are ok for now... just be aware that blocks can cause your leafs to sag faster than normal, they can also cause axle wrap (easier for you to look it up than have me try and explain it lol).

    If you want to do improvements on the rear suspension, you don't have to spend a crap ton of money on it. I'm just running a 1.5 inch Wheelers add a leaf and the middle leaf from a salvaged 5 lug Tacoma leaf pack.
