    Lazy Sunday.

Wife works 1600-0001. I have to go check properties (down to 3 this year). I think this will probably be my last summer. It's not really picking up. There are quite a few people not going back to their northern homes during the summer so they watch their neighbor's places for them. So I'm going to drop it come October when they all return and move on to my other "retirement idea" projects. Still have around 6 1/2 years to figure it all out.

    Afternoon.
    Back home..
Haven’t done this very often. Just take off and do nothing.
    Spent time with my honey..
    No pressure. No real plan..
Weather kinda sucked around here so really didn’t miss anything like fishing
    or yard work..
Now to reset and start another 6 day work week.
Like everyone else. A bright spot in a week of shit. Lol...

    Lazy Sunday here too.

Mary was feeling bad about missing church. I thought it would be a good idea if we went for ice cream. She drove, I paid for it. Now, she's taking a nap and I got a fire going in the fire pit. Just doing a whole lot of nothing.

If you can quietly enjoy NH and Maine's wilderness...……… it is a VERY GOOD DAY :hattip:

Your photo reminds me why Con wants to return "Home" this fall.... We actually miss the mountains, driving on the Kangamangus and of course Zeb's General Store in downtown North Conway....

Time will tell as we also have a "Business event" in Atlanta scheduled for October o_O ................ to be FULLY retired would help these decisions , then again having a few mattress's stuffed with $$$$$$$$$ would too :fistbump::fistbump::fistbump:

Well weather has been great all weekend, just fantastic. Got to shoot 5 stand yesterday morning and again this morning at a different club. But I am too freaking old to work all day Friday and then most of the night Saturday. Couple of hours sleep here and there and feel like I got beat up. Still feel that way.

Basically only got to eat one meal yesterday started at 9 PM and didn't finish until 11:30 that is what I get for getting fancy but damn it is was good.

Apple wood smoke, 250° for 2.5 hours. Twice baked potato with blue cheese and bacon, butter, garlic salt and pepper. Filet Mignon cubes with onions between slices. Wrapped in bacon. Dusted with Pitfaced Meat Massage. Anaheim pepper filled with crab meat and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and more Meat Massage of course.

I'm thinking you're liking the new paved driveway. That has to be easier than gravel, and looks great! My chicken (boneless skinless thighs) and veggies have been marinating for almost an hour and I should get up and start assembling things. But I feel more like a nap right now and just sat down. Think it is going to be another late supper tonight.

Thank you, we have 12 acres. 2 acres is yard.
A lot to take care of, but when done I enjoy.
All the Norway Spruce trees you see I planted about 10 years ago.

Awesome! It’s obvious you take really good care of it too. I like how you have lined the driveway with the rocks. It adds such a nice look.
How big were the trees when you planted them?

The trees I got from county agriculture office. They sell them in groups of 50. They are bare root and 12-18 inches tall.
