Damn you have to take off the bumper on a 98 to change the HLs? That sucks!

Not sure about BMW’s, but yes all the wood trim is completely real burlwood. Every single trim is different.

This ^^ I couldve sworn there were more steps than what Tyler said but it's cause we have different models.

The YT vid for 01 - 04 specifically shows them removing the climate control panel and 12v panel below, as well as the steering covers

its all just a bunch of screws and clips, not afraid of it being difficult, Just too tedious for only one bulb that's out

On our trucks? The 1998 is stupid easy. Just a few screws and bolts.

Totally forgot about the 12v panel. My clips broke long ago so there’s nothing holding it in.

No, for an Audi. You need to remove the bumper and grille on some Audi’s to remove the headlight housings.

Yeah, we have that lower panel to deal with. I just corrected the smelling pisakes in my post & add about 5he ash tray.

When you take out the ash tray you'll see one screw straight back. That's the only one in that area that needs to come out. You'll see one going straight up it you look but that one doesn't need to come out.

Behind the cimate control panel, only one on each side needs to co.e out, one going straight back, the up is screwed in diagonally.

BTW, the screws are JIS screws if you care. Philips screwdrive will work but they can cam out easy if you try to tighten them too much damaging the screw heads, shouldn't need to though.

Your screws are JIS? Mine aren’t, the only JIS fasteners I’ve encountered are the grab handle bolts.

I just had one go out to the left of the speedometer, so at night only half my speedometer is lit up now. Just happened last week. I read somewhere that the bulbs should last 12-ish years so it makes sense one of them finally bit the dust, if they all go out at once then it's likely a fuse or wiring issue and not the bulbs.

Yep, many of the interior screws are JIS but not under the hood. JIS screws normally have a dimple to signify JIS but not all of them have the dimple. I can tell by looking at the cross points on the screw head. I never expected JIS screws since the truck was assembled im the US but that doesn't mean anything, not all the parts were made here.

Might want to see if you're suffering from something more serious like sleep apnea...heavy/frequent snoring is a common symptom of it.

My dad had/has sleep apnea and for years he was only getting about one hour worth of "real" sleep every night, took a major toll on his body until he finally got treatment for it

I remember being a kid and I could be downstairs with the TV on and I could hear him snoring loud and clear through the ceiling from upstairs lol. No idea how my mom put up with that for so many years.

I dunno, I'm confused, hooks98tacoma asked for a tutorial about removing headlights & you replied to him so I though you were talking about a 98 Tacoma.
