I was really looking for the softopper brand.. I used to have a tan one but I didn't like tan as much as I thought I would have. But from the research I did.. the besttops leaked or couldn't get good seals around the windows..

Check out the Children's Museum. There is also a children's park near downtown. Doing Mice on Main could be fun for the kiddo. You didnt say an age, so I am just tossing stuff out there that my kids have enjoyed.

There's an observatory on roper mountain rd.
To bad you were dissapointed with bad daddy burgers, I always enjoyed that place.

Lite trail for the rental would be horsepasture road, North of Greenville on hwy 178 off of hwy 11. Sunsets at jumping off rock are pretty spectacular.

I gave him the link to the trailhead to HPR in the AZ thread but he’s not in town long enough. Gave him food suggestions and links to the Rock Garden I used to take Chloe to and Poinsett Bridge.

Work in progress. So glad I bought a chipper hahaha. Couple more days and weekends of cutting this shit down and chipping it up. Once it’s done it’s just weed whacking and maintaining. Just crazy to me that down here in the south it seems people don’t have as much pride in ownership or do any kind of outside maintenance.

I’m not saying people need to spend thousands of dollars but it’s crazy when I drive around down here and notice all the houses that need power washed, bushes trimmed, grass cut, etc. Just different from growing up north and growing up in the country where people were always outside working on houses or farms and making things look halfway decent. Rant over haha
