Helps to have the advantage of never turning it off since bulbs usually fail when switched on. It is also dimmer than a candle, I’m looking for bonfire. :)

Impressive none the less to put it mildly though.

Even after having my headlights professionally adjusted.for $25 I still get flashed at night from maybe 1/10 cars coming toward me. Anyone else have an issue with people flashing their brights at them since doing this upgrade?

I have the 100w bulbs. I wish I could find the 85w bulbs.

Nope. I've had Toyota "professional adjust" my headlights as well, they did a shit job, I went back and demanded my money back. I had never been flashed till they messed with them. I was able to do far better on my own than their technicians for $120+/hr. Unless Osram restarts production the 85/80w are pretty much gone.

    1 year.

I was getting flashed twice as often before the adjustment. Plus the shop owner told me to come back for a free adjustment if I wasn't satisfied. I still have the receipt, so I may go back. I've had this shop align all my Tacoma headlights in previous years and they always tell me I can get a 2nd adjustment for free.

Just realized you are Tundra, checked your build thread, how clear are those headlight lenses? Fogged lenses cause scatter/glare, and the pics at the beginning look like yours are sub-par shape. 3" lift plus oversized tires on a Tundra platform isn't helping either. But if you could restore your lenses back to clear I be it would go a long way to helping the glare issue.

They aren't perfect but they definitely look.worse in the pics than in person. I clean em up like once every 3 months

Do you not seal them with a UV protector? They shouldn't need to be cleaned regularly unless you are not using a UV sealant. Not using a sealant will cause them to rapidly breakdown after cleaning.

I just use this spray on and wipe off waterless wax stuff I got from a demonstration at my local Kroger gas station. It cleans paint, headlights, glass and wheels. Worked great the first time when they were super cloudy.

Doesn't sound like a UV stabilizing product, if it was you would only need to do it every 1-2 years.

You're probably right. But it literally takes about a minute. Spray on. Let it sit. Wipe it away.

Looks like I need to get some Osram 85/80w ALL Seasons; in the low beam they outperform the Osram 100/90w that I am running now. I can't remember the last time I cut my hi beams on.

I believe they have been discontinued but there is a seller in China on Ebay that has them for $29.50 each. According to the chart it looks like the Osram 100/90 is the best bang for the buck. The IPF perform better but cost twice as much.
