Have really started my "build" yet.

    Current mods:

    Pro Grille with Raptor Lights20190303_170539.jpg

    Plastidipped wheels

I did the budget audio with Memphis Audio tweeters, and the Kicker door speakers, sounds great minus my driver door rattle.20190222_160521.jpg

    IMG_20190303_122221_417.jpg

Next is suspension. Haven't made my mind up yet, but leaning towards the OME kit with leafs. And I'll get the middle option 2888 I think. The medium load. I'll keep my stock wheels and get some 33s.

Then bed rack, and maybe a roof top tent.

I'm not really sure what direction to go.

Been awhile since I've updated this. Since the last time I've posted I got the front runner load bars and my smittybilt rtt. Love them both. Somehow today I broke my driver side taillight, and managed to put a dent in my door. I think a rock rolled off a hill as I was driving by and I think my dogs head broke my taillight as he was loading up.

    Anyone have a taillight?

They seem to be. I don't like how they are mounted. I really wish I would've went with the cbi load bars instead. The set j have now literally mount to the tie down rails. If you look in the picture you can see what I mean 20190523_201223.jpg

I really like your set up I’m very close on pulling the trigger for the same load bars.
I’m planning on putting a rtt and it’s going to be my wife and my self. I weigh 220lb. Do you think it the Tacoma rails would hold that weight? With your experience.

I have look at the cbi bars too

I'm 260 and it's held me and the wife. I have no worries about the load bars or the Tacoma rails. When I installed the rails I got up there and jumped up and down and they inside rails didn't even make a noise.

I will be adding a 2in spacer block in between the load bars cross bars and uprights because I need about 2 more inches in order to fit the dog kennel under.

But for now everything seems legit.

I looked at those and was sorta skeptical because the add a nutsert below the rail. I wasn't sure if that would compromise the integrity of the bed sides?

I will eventually buy or fabricate some bed stiffeners.
