I would maybe try a product like "mat renew" from Chemical Guys. I've never tried it, but it's supposed to be safe since it's designed to be used on rubber floor mats including the driver side. And I've been pleased by most CG products I've used. Even use a lot professionally.

Cool! But why didn't you just put the antenna on the other side of the ditch light? That way her view is blocked by the A-pillar...

Painted the chrome hardware black to match the step & truck. Next step is liquid seal.

Sorry if this is a duplicate for those who saw my other thread on this.

The next thing I’m thinking about are vinyl insets for the “tacoma” and Toyota logo on the floor next to the inside of the door . Does anyone have advice for the best place to get those ?

Yeah I've previously learned that the hard way. I used all hand tools except for fixing that castle nut and the lugs for the wheels. I think I figured it what happened though.

Looking back, King clearly uses the same reservoir mount for multiple vehicle set ups. There was a set of empty holes, and a set of threaded holes on the mounts. I assumed the threaded holes were for the bolts they provided but I was wrong. Before putting them on I tested the bolts on the mount to make sure they would work smoothly, but they didn't. And I think that's where I mangled the bolts, but didn't think to reexamine the threads before putting them in. When I actually went to mount them I think the mangled bolts cross-threaded the holes and caused the issue.

Update: Did the second shock today in 3hrs, no issues :). It's dark so no pics, but will post tomorrow.

Thanks, I did think of that but there are two reasons why I put it on the inside.
1.I just didn’t like the antenna on that side.
    2. I am going to put a snorkel on in the near future and I’m not not sure how it would fit with the antenna on that side.

I've thought about doing a ham setup. Would there be any drawback to mounting the antenna at an angle? Say, parallel along the a-pillar? I also don't want it sticking out and I think that would look very clean.
