worked. Sat washed the parents cars - 1 had lichen growing on it, both had moss on them. 2 hour drive.
worked. Sun mowed the parents lawn - 1st cut of the season. :-( 2 hour drive.
Not how I had planned on spending vacation, but needed done.
Monday - going to work, then going to work. Not how I had imagined vacation going.... LOL

e-Bought the Pius & Tacoma dash mats & sun screens tonight. Getting ready for summer.
Tundra is getting a new pumpkin soon, then a kick in the arse. (In case anyone want's a Tundra...)
Love the Tundra, but going to refocus on the Taco. Buying that impact gun puts so many projects in reach.

Morning all. Woke up to a kid with a barking seal cough...Late to work....Happy Monday...Oh well, got to hit it tonight with the new weights...

 

Dis-fucking-like. barking cough is no bueno. Been there way too many times.

 

Yep, not our first rodeo...Damned allergies...

 

Yeah... they've been brutal lately. I'm suffering myself. Try not to take anything because I'm not a big fan of taking pills, but I've caved twice in the past two weeks. I just couldn't take it anymore.

 

I've never had issues with allergies. What do you take? I'll see if there's a kid's version on the way home...

 

I tried a few different ones, Allegra D, Zyrtec D, Claritin D, and even the store branded D stuff... the only one I felt worked best for me was the Claritin D. But I will say this though; I avoid taking it because even though it works, it makes me feel "weird". Not sure if it's because of it or something else, but I kinda feel anxious... or a bit nervous... kinda like something is going on upstairs but not quite sure what. It's weird... but the stuff works, so that's why I avoid taking it regularly and only take it if I'm practically "dying".

 

Big time allergy/asthma sufferer here. Anything with a 'D' is also a decongestant which can make you jittery. Also not so good if you have prostrate issues. I use Zyrtec along with a prescription nasal spray but each pill works in different ways so you have to try a few different ones until you find one that works the best.

 

Thanks for info guys. I think first I'm going to try sealing up his gut with colostrum supplements first. Lots of reviews on Amazon about colostrum helping with allergies and GI problems...I mentioned a couple weeks ago that he was formula fed as a baby, and I think this is a result...Lots of positive benefits https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-785/bovine-colostrum Hell, I might start taking it...

 

Afrin No-Drip for a clogged nose. Not for allergies but doesn't matter. I use it when my allergies kick up. Claritin D is the only pill I've tried that works when you need it. Almost all of these allergy pills don't work on day 1. You need to take them for a few days for them to really work. Then you have to take them every single day like a prescription. It's too much work and makes me sorta mad tbh, even though its irrational for me to be mad about it.

Afrin works in like 5-10 minutes and lasts all night or day long with one spray in each nose. I LOVE IT when I can't breath well. It's the only meds I ever take besides ibuprofen if I'm super duper sore.
