    It's great to see what migrants are capable of accomplishing. My mom and her sisters all married and moved to the US, and opened businesses. They are now retired. Out of the 7 cousins (I'm the youngest), 2 are registered nurses, one is a firefighter, 1 is a HS teacher, and 1 is a dentist student. My brother (2nd youngest) starts his nursing job in McAllen today at 7:00 AM.

    Law enforcement mate. It doesn't matter what you study, Border Patrol starts you at a higher GL-9 rank instead of the lower GL-7 rank that the uneducated recruits start with.


    Higher rank means higher pay boiiiii

    That sounds like California residents. My great grandparents live in LA along with some of my cousins and other family. They aren’t doing anything either other than living at home watching tv.

    We moved here when I was 3, so I've always studied under the Texas education system.
