    Its cheap!

Drove through that near Browntown and ended up stopping underneath a tree. Hail was definitely on the bigger size.

We did a quick video while driving just in case there would be damage. Haven't looked at the truck yet.

On another note: the jeeep force is gonna be strong in this one I believe; 2k miles on that JL and it has more scratches from trail rides in its 6 weeks life than anything else i've seen. @Usroadscholar if you need someone to drive slow to help break in the 4.88; this would be the JL to trail around with. Just pickedup on Friday with the new gearing.

I am always interested in exploring, just let me know when and where. BTW both difs are now broke in and front oil change happens Wednesday. I did the 75mph run on I-66 this morning to finish the front. I plan to head out to Philomont to check out a water crossing.

Very nice set of new wheels...is that Taco resting sadly in the background?

@BSK I want to explore some of the forest roads in the Washington and Jefferson forests that I rode my GS on but I do not want to go alone. Maybe you would be interested with your your new wheels.

I did the piggy back for now, just cause I didn't have an extra bolt for the brackets you made.
But I'll stop and grab one tomorrow.

ORI in Winchester. The rear gears were from Nitro and were REM treated. The front were Yukon and I could not find any REM treated from either company. The REM treated were 100.00 additional. They were mirror finish compared to dull gray with machining marks on the Yukon’s. They say the REM treated gears do not need breaking in but I followed the heat hardened procedure anyway.

Great. BTW my idea of camping is setting up a tent in a motel room and sleeping in the bed!

Yeah it was crying since its a jeep that we were wrenching on and not some other Taco.

Lets take the GS and Vstrom and see how much trouble we can get into!

These were done at ORI in Winchester like everyone elses. Not my jeep though it belongs to some firehouse guy obviously with the attention grabber color scheme.

    2 wheels or 4 wheels?

@BSK I don’t have the GS any more just a Yamaha R3 and I use that for fun rides since the police don’t like racing on county roads. Also after hitting three deers on sport bikes I have slowed down. Last time I broke a hip.

I have dometic cfx-40 and I would 100% buy it time and time again. It’s more expensive than others but it’s worth it to me. The other day while preparing for assateague I had my fridge on and full of food. It maintained 34° in 90° heat and was in direct sunlight (with the insulating cover, which I recommend anyways for protection)

As you’re aware I’m not easy on my truck, and with all the off camber and jarring stuff I do, no issues there either.

I’m also impressed with dometic company as a whole. I’ve been to a few off roading/overland events and they’re at every single one. Very nice people and always donating stuff for prizes.

Sorry for the late response, but no I didn't get any pictures. My wife and I went for a walk later on in the evening and we didn't really see any damage, which was surprising. Also, my son's car sits outside and I checked it for damage but there wasn't any. I do need to check my garage door later now that I am thinking of it. Anyway, it sure did drop the temps after that front went through...felt great!
