speaking of spam phone calls....motherfucking asian language spammers are calling me from Washington DC numbers now. I'm so sick of this crap

I seriously get 10 of these a day sometimes

 

lol, I still do too...that was his nickname on here for awhile but it seems to have tapered off. We should bring it back

 

Oh so it's not just me! I've been getting Chinese speaking spam calls lately. I never pick them up, some of them leave messages which is weird.

 

yeah it's a big problem lately, for most of CA it seems like. I wasn't sure what language it was or if it's maybe in different ones, but it's never an actual person...always a pre-recorded message and half the time they leave a 1 min long voicemail I have to delete afterward if I don't pick up the phone.

I keep hearing that there's going to be some legislation that stops this eventually but that day can't come soon enough...I'm getting so tired of these spam calls. I've blocked so many phone numbers now at this point I must have at least 200 hundred on my blocked list but they use a different one every time.

 

Yup me too, I have so many numbers added to my block list! I have my cell & home numbers listed in the do not call registry but that doesn't work anymore & has been around forever. There's another one called opt out or something that I hear works for phone calls & emails but it asks for your SSN so I didn't register.

I hope they do something about it!

 

yikes yeah I wouldn't offer up my SSN to a no-call list haha. I'm on the "official" one too but it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.

Oh well...1st world problems I guess lol

I didn't have to do any math class beyond algebra II for my degree.

 

Looking up welding cert programs for shits and laughs, holy hell they're expensive. Around $7k for each certification program. Yikes.

Not that I'm looking to become 'certified' but damn, that ain't cheap for roughly ~6 weeks of training in one specific area. Guess that's how the industry filters out the hobbyists from the career driven.
