1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

My school had a half semester night course for anyone who wanted to learn to mig weld. Totally seperate from the Welding Degree Program.

 

yeah we have a lot of those options out here too, considerably cheaper of course. I was just curious what it took to become certified, it's really not all that surprising when you look at other trade certification programs...they're all pretty expensive once you decide to go from 'weekend warrior' to 'professional'.

Still considerably cheaper than a uni degree though that's for sure lol.

Friend of mine on my hockey team is a certified welder and works for a company not far from where I live, he's offered to teach me the ways so I'll probably take him up on it as a means to get my feet wet.

 

I'll stick with a BS at YouTube U for welding

Free 2.7 3rz block. Does not include the head or any accessories or an oil pan, but does have the Pistons and crankshaft in it. 1 piston developed a knock free to whoever wants to come and get it located in South Lake Tahoe
