People are insane! Very over priced Tacoma’s

Local dealer had a Raptor listed online a few months back for 100k.

 

They also had 4 pro Tacoma’s, 3 pro tundras and 2 pro 4runners on the on the lot when I was there Friday.
All with markup no doubt.

 

OR Tacos seem reasonably priced, IMO... at least given the fact that you can score some pretty good deals on them.

At the end of the day, a good business sells its product based on what the market will bear. For whatever reason people buying pro Tacos think they're worth $50k...

 

If you want to really be damned ask for the parts they took off like wheel and tire sets, grills etc. They usually will say no, because Josh in parts sold them on the wholesale side to a used car lot or bodyshop.

Only an idiot would buy a truck that's been modified by a dealer.

Asking price I guess . They have a blue on listed too for the same price .

People just need to stop whining. It's been said before, nobody is forcing anyone to buy these trucks.

Also, if you want to send a message and save money then buy a Frontier King Cab Pro4x for under 30k with a little negotiation. That's probably more truck than anyone on TW, including myself, needs anyways.

 

I got my "basic" 2017 Sport DCSB MT for 32,4xx back in December 2016. I felt like I overpaid, but I love my truck.

I paid just slightly less. I got out the door for just under $31k so you did damn well. Sticker said $38k . Thank goodness for family friends at dealerships

 

See, that right there is a HUGE issue for me. We live in the age of “free” money (auto loans, houses, school) It does everyone a disservice. We no longer live within our means, we live paycheck by paycheck (can I afford this payment)

I've seen how F-150's depreciate in value where I live. In five years that truck will be worth 20,000! Ha!!

 

Meh, I get this to a certain extent. Different thoughts. My multimillion dollar uncle rents here in California. Lol, yet he owns multiple houses in Washington, and a couple apartment complexes in Texas. He said the California market and cost of everything makes it more beneficial to rent here.

I’ll be honest, I probably won’t ever own a house here in California. I plan on buying on the east coast eventually

 

Come to Ohio, you can buy a house for the price of a used Corolla.
