What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

My tire shop did it in less than 5 minutes when I got new wheels. I think Discount Tire has that scan tool.

New wheels, tires and sensors (smart sensor)

 

Pulled the Lund 600 miles to Ontario for a week of fishing. Somehow got 16 MPG despite my E rated ST Maxxs. ECT, S4 and OVTune FTW.

 

I got it at Lowe’s. It’s a Kobalt job site toolbox, item #691046. I ideally would have liked a bit more cubic footage, but the next size up was 48” wide, and there’s roughly about 42” between the wheel wells.

Mine is actually not bolted to the bed, but rather to the mat itself. I drilled a couple of u-bolts through the back at the height of the hooks near the front of the bed and fed a ratchet strap through. It’s staying in place pretty well so far.

in my reading of the threads ( need tpms for my SCS F5’s) there was mention of instructing the installer to use 2016 specs for download. it seems that in some cases this is a workaround.

 

Pep Boys can do it. They did my 2018

 

They're just the OEM FJ Cruiser wheels, 17x7.5. I purchased them from Boch Toyota South's online arm since they're local to me and I can pick them up to save the shipping charge.

You can get non-OEM ones but they do not have the connection for the center caps.

To be honest I’m not quite sure. It did not state it in the description. Not to familiar with that, is there a way to tell by looking at them?

 

There is a button lower left of the steering column near the hood release.

Towed for the first time in the new truck Sunday.
Fiat 500e=2980
Uhaul car transport trailer=2210
Total: 5190

About 2" of sag but drove great! Plenty of power/gearing was great, definitely noticed the weight under braking.
Averaged around 12 mpg over 180 miles at about 60-65 mph.
