Correct. I'm not 100% sure whether I'll stretch my existing snows one more season or not. They're date coded 2013, but easily have 8/32nd of tread remaining with even wear. I'll see how I'm doing budget-wise with the new small human. I haven't decided if I want 265/70 or whatever the 255 size is for a 17" wheel. I'd like to do a P-tire regardless. I've got the OEM center caps which I'm planning on leaving the original black.

It's going 7 games. Had the bruins won last night I would have bet my mortgage payment on them taking the series Thursday. But now, its going 7 and will take a few more years off my life.

Dropped the trailer off this morning. Fingers crossed nothing too expensive or serious. Gave them a whole list of things. The frame is already flaking on it and i had coated it with the Amsoil HD MP. So at some point before she goes away ill be cleaning areas, rust converter, POR15, and then top coat even though its not exposed to the sun.

What is the frame? Painted steel? Boggles the mind that they don't do hot dip galvanized steel as standard. Did you buy this trailer new?

Speaking of trailers, I got my trailer wheels coming in today. Just in time! Need to make a run to the salt this weekend, striper are here!

Mine's the same way. Bought new in 2016 and never towed on salty roads (doesn't come out until May and gets put away in October). The paint that they used for the frame comes up in flakes the size of my hand. If I weren't trading it in, I'd be repainting the frame this year. Whatever they used from the factory is absolute garbage.

yup purchased new and is never out on salty roads though i do get near the ocean in the cape. just painted steel though and its flaking in large chunks in some random places. so ill clean it all off with an air tool at some point and get a good few coats on there

So I got all my trailer tires in today, Noel, let me ask you, what date range would you consider acceptable to receive? 4 of the 5 are all the same date codes 4018, I'm ok with those. But one is a 1017 (so April of 2017). Should I bitch? Does your company have a protocol for what date codes you are allowed to sell? To be honest, I'd be surprised if I can get 3 or 4 years out of my tires just with tread wear alone, but when you spend almost $600 on tires it's a little bit aggravating to get a tire that is more than 2 years old.

Dealer across the street from my office has had like 5 sitting on their lot for a few weeks. Kind of surprised they have just sat there unsold for so long.

Because they’re great in theory for someone who wants an off-road, convertible truck but not many people want to pay $50-60k for one... that’s full size limited/platinum/Denali territory.

Agree 100%. I guess I'm surprised because of the cult following wranglers have I would have thought they'd fly off the lot initially.

It's not a Wrangler though. I think that was the thinking of a lot of people, that they'd sell like hot cakes just because it resembles a Wrangler. I think they priced it too high for what it is and the people who drive and love the Wrangler are likely going to keep driving a Wrangler. If they wanted a pickup, they probably weren't waiting patiently for Jeep to finally get off the dime and make one, they've been threatening to do so for years now. A lot of people are probably as shocked as I am that they actually started producing them. Just my speculation.
