    simple things for now
First Taco. DCSB. Happy so far. Hauls my gear for backpacking and other outdoor excursions just fine. Love the looks of both the long and short beds.

DCLB for me ! Really debated on this one, had a 2nd gen DCLB and was really wanting to switch to an Access cab or a DCSB this time round. In the end I figured I dont really offroad much other than woods roads or gravel, I do haul things quite often, usually larger things always tinkering on projects and with a kid on the way that kind of threw out the Access cab. So in the end I went with another DCLB and I love it, also I find they ride much nicer after test driving them all. I drive a ext cab Chev for work and the DCLB is much easier to park. The wheelbase of the DCLB is basically the same as the 1st gen Tundras, 140.7" vs 140.5", and width 74.7" vs 75.2".

I do think the Access cabs look the best and then the DCLB, I find the DCSB's look weird on the 3rd gens. Mostly just the bodyline between the box and cab drives me, looks like it was just an afterthought. I feel like they could have done better on that for something so simple. I do see how the short bed fits a lot of peoples needs vs the long though and that is fine !

I like would have bought a access cab TRD OR if i could have found one locally. I think the access cab and DCSB look the best.

The DCLB looks like a compromise truck. It's like when they bought it they said hmm I need a truck to do home owner things like hauling in sixteen cartons of Mt Dew from Costco, but I have two kids that out grow shoes each month. The wheel base is like a school bus, it looks like a school bus it looks wrong.

DCLB all day for me. The shortbed looks too small, and is too small (for me). Couldn't switch and won't ever switch to something shorter than 6.5'

And off road it does just fine. It's 21' long bumper to end of tire...

I like the long bed in my access cab. It looks more proportionate to the overall truck size.

My short box contains all the items I need for towing my camper and camping. (Everything just fits)

Wanted a DC but needed SB to fit in my underground parking space. Plus I think it looks good.

I like the looks of both when they are done up. I think it's hilarious that people call the 6 foot bed a long bed though :boink:

But I wouldn't trade my Longbed for anything.

Exactly I like both. They are Great trucks. But I love my long bed. To each there own.

I say longbed. The extra room is nice for camping.

If I’m not mistaken the long bed is over a foot longer than a short bed.
