To be honest I’m not sure, it’s just came with the kit. Sorry, it was the kit from running4tacos.

Those look awesome! Now this might sound stupid but how do I 'add a fuse'? I'm not too sure exactly what that means. I'm familiar with residential electrical but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to auto electrical wiring. Did your lights come with instructions? I'm gonna go with this exact setup. Thanks.

So my experience with running4tacos grille lights...

So I bought them to put them in a row where no modifying is needed. I bought the three pack white ones. So the two outside ones were extremely tight to the point of lightly scratching the grille and the middle was loose to the point where you can push on it and it pops out. I emailed them about it and they told me some nonsense. They said not all the holes are the same on the pro grille, which I find to be nonsense as I have the oem pro grille and they said on advertisement they just snap in and the row I chose requires no modification( I think all clips they sell aren’t the same). So who knows, in regards to a remedy, instead of sending me a new one he said to add electrical tape where the clips clip in to the grille. SMH, to be honest, I would rethink buying from them for the 80 bucks and buy the pieces separately on Amazon or eBay for half the price. I wonder if that’s all they do and sell as a complete kit, I don’t know? In regards to light quality it looks sweet, but it’s only been two days so I have to see. Just my honest opinion and I’m not to happy about it but I don’t know. Anyone else encounter this with their running4tacos kit?

Yeah, I've seen some people have this issue. Also with where they put it (the row of openings) I have mine in the row above yours and I have one snug fit with one of mine. Even heard people on you tube still having to trim up some pieces. Could be hit or miss or batches they come in. MY first amber ones I got in Octobers went in damn near perfect. When I got the white ones earlier this year, broke two of them barley even pushing them in, the tabs broke. Sent me replacements when they got back in stock. One's little snug but its good and no issues.

Now that’s a heck of a deal! Seems to be the way to go. That or eBay/Amazon.

Good to know I’m not the only one. Thanks for the response. I emailed them back in regards to the electrical tape bit. Hope they send me out one replacement. Will update when I hear back. I mean holding a new mod on with electrical tape on my 2 year old pristine 40k Truck would bother me. I’m not even close to the phase of rigging stuff up lol. Especially not an $80 mod.

I bought mine from eBay, a 4-light set that are similar to the running4tacos lights (same lights and harness, no add-a-fuse or ring terminal for ground). I also have an OEM TRD Pro Grille. The holes in the grille are indeed “different”. Each of my 4 lights fit perfectly in the holes towards the outside ends of the grille, and each of the 4 lights fit really sloppy in the middle holes. I corrected the center fits, by shooting the clips full of electronics grade silicone from behind, and letting them sit in the humid Kentucky sun for a few hours. Now they sit nice and stable.

Couldn’t agree more, love how they match my pro fogs! Wish my headlights were made for LEDs but don’t want to spend the coin right now on new headlights.

Tell me more about the Pro Fogs please...and how can you tell if your headlights are made for LEDs?

I have leds in all my lights. High beams, low beams, turns, fogs. Who said you can’t?

They are the fog lights that come stock with the TRD PRO, pricey but very nice. They are plug and play with our TRDs. They are of course led over our halogen stock fogs that our trucks came with. Shop around though you can find cheaper.

I just thought I read a huge lighting post for our trucks stating with the projector housings the leds don’t perform as well and blind oncoming drivers. That’s just what I read from a hardcore lighting guy. What ones do you have? Very curious! Here is the link.

Niceeee. Get some white LEDs on those headlights so everything matches!! It's not that expensive

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H8VILMC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - I have these on my headlights. Look great and are very bright.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3DGXYX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - And these on my foglights. **A little disclaimer here, we have very little fog in PR, so I don't really care about how bright the fog lights are, so this would depend on your preference.

I finally found some for my high beams, currently on their way.

Can't remember the ring size, but you can tell by looking at the ones in the store if that screw is going through the hole.

I am very much NOT a tools guy, but Add a Fuse is a basic plug and play item. You insert the cable on one side and clamp it in with some pliers, then on the other side it's like an extension, you have a part with the 2 fuse prongs and on top you have 2 slots for fuses.

I'd bought my set from Runnin4tacos a long time ago and I have no issue with fitment, light output or degradation. Everything works just fine, with OEM pro grill in all.

Interesting. So I received an email back from them today and they say "Our lights only fit exactly with our grille, the OEM ones seem to have that problem". I thought that was funny as no where was that stated on their sales page, and I replied back saying that. They did offer a refund though. So, bottom line is, if you have an OEM pro grille, suddenly they aren't guaranteed to fit as stated on their webpage, only if you buy their knockoff grille.

Yeah I don’t think I believe what he’s saying, I think each batch they get, the clips may make it for a tighter or looser fit, per batch. Two of mine are tight and one loose. I think they just order the parts that everyone else is buying on eBay and Amazon and just putting together a kit.

Those are supposed to be good. I think instead of putting electrical tape on the light clips as instructed lol, I’ll try to epoxy the plastic so it fits in that slot tighter. I do like the look but if I could do it again I’d pay half the price and buy on Amazon or eBay.
