Hey fellow third geners! I just wanted to report back with details of my install over this weekend. I recently decided to upgrade my tired old SR5 suspension after 2+ years 47k miles of offroading and trips to Lowes to pick up rocks, mulch, and various other heavy things.

Originally I was planning to just do an Icon AAL kit and non resi rear shocks, but after some suggestions from fellow members I opted to spend a bit more money and get the OME leaf pack.

Surprisingly, the coilover install upfront was actually a bit easier than the rear leaf install. I'm loving the tighter handling, the better driving visibility, and flex increase from this new setup! If anyone has any questions about install please don't hesitate to reach out. If there's anything I can say it is don't be intimidated! As long as you go slow, everything can be completed relatively easily.

What is your ridge height difference before and after?

I'll get some exact measurements, but eyeballing looks like about 1.5 front and 3 in the rear.

Wheels / Tires / Softopper / Fox 2.5's ext travel set to 2.5" of lift/ 600 pound 14" springs / Total Chaos UCAs/ ARB Summit Series Bumper / SOS Offroad Sliders /OV Tune / SPOD / Ditchlights /10K winch/ a bunch of other stuff
I had the 2.0's worked out great. I adjusted them to get another inch of lift out of the front on my 2018 DCLB, so 2 inches of lift total. When I put the ARB bumper on I went to a 2.5 ext travel with a longer coil to accommodate the extra 180lbs. to 2.0s were a great choice as long as you don't start adding weight up front.

@BeardedYinzer Ya I'm ordering the 2.0 front and rear and was going to set the front at 2inches and trying to figure out what size block for the rear. I have always ran the bilstien 5100 at the max height setting in the front with OEM springs.

I run a 2 inch block in the rear for now (the 2.5's are set at 2inches) until i figure out my bumper setup, it sits level

I did an AAL in my first Tacoma and never had anything in the bed or in Tow and felt it made it really stiff in the back. Since then i ran a block in my other Tacoma and my Tundra and everything felt good. IMO Blocks are for Crusing and AAL is for Offroading.
