You could roast a hotlink in the cab of that in the middle of July.

I dig it. FJ Cruisers have grown on me over the years, I used to hate them when they were first around. Thought they looked like Lego-mobiles, always expected a giant Lego man to climb out of one.

They look really good when lifted/armored and the right wheels and tires though.

Easy to get imported. I see lots of those Toyota HiAces and Diesel Land Cruisers around San Francisco. Diesel before 1997 is exempt from emissions so people like to import Diesel vehicles into the state.

I decided to go to 5 guys for lunch cause I have a $10 gift card. Still managed to spend $6 additional dollars. On one meal. How TF does this business model work?

Also, they're building a "Habit" Burger place in the next town over. Is it any good?

Lmao truth. It's good food but sure is expensive for a burger and fry. I usually get the single patty burger and the smallest fries and still share the fries with whoever I'm there with cause the portions are ridiculous huge

I've had Habit a couple times and I thought it was good. Don't remember specifics but just remember thinking this is pretty good food

haha, just funny to see it on the other side of the steering wheel. I rarely ever use cruise control TBH, I don't trust it with the supercharger. I'll use it if I'm on a long stretch of open flat land highway but that's about it.

I still like arctic circle too. It's good food and decent priced. I like their halibut fish n chips so that's more spendy but it's good at least lol
They still do the double burger for 99 cents sale? (or something like that)

not sure how often you eat out but I consider $15 a cheap restaurant meal these days, even McDs is like $7-8 for a value meal

We have The Habit all over here in CA, it's pretty good...it's definitely a step above fast food but not as good as a gourmet burger and a nice restaurant. IMO they make a good tasting regular cheeseburger, but if I'm craving something really unique I'll go elsewhere.

I did discover recently that you can order The Habit burgers on grilled sourdough instead of regular buns and it's even better that way.

It's about $10 for a combo meal at Habit so it's not exactly cheap, but better than regular fast food for sure.

barf....I love sourdough but not on a PBJ haha.

PBJs are best on soft, unnaturally bleached and chemically preserved nutrition-less white bread

What's funny, and I know it was 20 years ago like '95 or so, but I remember going with a couple buddies to the mall and to McDs and we'd always order the quarter pounder meal and supersize it(none of this 'upgrade to large' BS) and it was 2.99 for the meal and I think it was 99 cents for supersize? Maybe it was 59 cents... But so crazy cheap back then

My fave PBJ is toasted whole wheat bread the real and good kind, like stone ground whole hard wheat or whatever, and then thicc ass layer of PB and thicc layer of strawberry jam.... Mmmmmm
