I've had cougar before. I mean the large mountain dwelling feline, not the kind that stalks bellevue malls.

2000lbs and your truck will hit the bump stops every time you find a rough seam in the freeway, just for reference. 1500 would probably not fuck anything up.

Personal experience? I would be hitting freeway speeds, if i were to put it in, the next biggest issue would be properly tying it down. @bobsuruncle can attest to the fuckieness of my driveway

I've been stalked by a cougar, the type also seen in bellevue malls, in my own neighborhood. I got away.
I have also seen the mountain type 2 times. I never saw the whole cougar, only patches of it.

When I was a single dude in my 20s the cougars used to lay out traps for me using alcohol. Can't pass on free drinks.

This one lured me with food, since she is my neighbor I went. She's a vegan, I'm not. A vegan would go into shock at our gas grill we clean once every month or 2. It gets hot killing any pathogens, we've been doing it for years and haven't gotten sick.
Then she said she wanted to go hiking, "I'll let you ride in my BMW" she said. BFD. Oh it has an automatic transmission and a disabled parking permit.
She said she can't push a clutch. Well she's not gonna be much fun to hike with, I like to go fast. So I made lame excuses but she didn't get the picture.
Then I find out she's married, something she didn't mention. I have married women friends so the only issue is concealing it. Then I find she has a history of luring men to her house. She told one guy she needed help moving something, he said he'd bring his wife. All of a sudden she didn't need help anymore. The dangers of the urban jungle.
I think she gave up. :)

It better be strapped down good otherwise it's bye bye tail gate and your tool box will be mobbing down the hill. I'll be standing in the side lines picking up all your 10mm sockets... :anonymous:

I woke up last Sunday at 4:30 in the morning in my hammock to a cougar walking between mine and my buddies hammock. Hammocks were tied off from back bumper to the two trees... I woke up and my heart rate was like 180bpm

I like to sleep with a rifle out in the woods/mountains. Why take chances?

My buddy would have woken to gunfire. Probably would have forgiven me if we had cougar steak and eggs after.

They don't qualify as a cougar if they can still lay eggs, right?
