It was lamb ribs of some kind, just cut weird.

 

Got 2 more F notes from the yard today. Gonna rob the coil out of one and transplant it into my broken C note. Other one is a back up in case plan A fails.
I watched some long youtube video touring the delco remy factory back in the day just to confirm my theory that the note is only dependant in the plastic part and the thickness of the diaphragm. The coils are completely interchangable. So @BartMaster1234 if you have a bunch of broken C notes you can fix them, but you may need some sacrificial horns as donors.

 

I’ll have to do some experimenting.

 

When I opened my C note up, I was surprised to see that nothing was melted like the how to fix video I watched said there would be. Guess the coil just gave up on life.

Judging by the damage I doubt there’s frame damage. Looks like it’s all up high.

 

Hmm. The car is filthy, flats all around, and some other stuff needs to get replaced, but wonder if it’s worth a low ball offer.

I’m nervous about any past due CA taxes/fees, it was last registered here but they let the tags expire for like 8 years. So guessing if I’d have to pay that.

 

Well that was by far the weirdest thing I have ever woken up to. Two 30” trailers full of about 250 goats each for a total of 500 goats.

I walked out and talked to someone from the City of Hayward who told me they’re using the goats to eat the grass and overgrowth behind the canal. They’ll be on my street for a week.

 

That's old school...so rather than hire a few people to clear the canal they brought in 500 goats? haha

 

The guy from the city told me the goats were a fraction of the price a landscaper quoted with machinery.

Plus the goats don’t damage the canal and easement which heavy machinery would.

 

Thats when you get about 10 kids down at the local high school and hand them weed eaters for $100 a day.

 

White House use to do that with sheep but would also sell the wool for Red Cross donations.

The liability sounds horrible on that.

 

No, having music makes those jobs go so much better. I used to weedeat the banks of a 5 acre-ish lake and about 300 yards of stream every other week for 2 summers, usually by myself or with one other guy.

Just have a city employee watch to make sure none are goofing off on the phones non stop. Any consistent phone usage gets you kicked off the job, unpaid.
