Yes just took one of those little guys off of me really holding on. Gotta welt about the size of your wasp sting. We definitely have to find a better place to camp between the vines and the stickers that's why I camped on the beach

I scouted that trail above Spaas that I talked about on Thursday....no go. There's a gate and it become hiking only. It's also crazy far.

I looked at the GIS map of the trail that said No Trespassing - zipline. That road crosses through the corner of zipline property (Owned by Rob Sellin) and then continues back onto bank owned land (which is the same parcel that Cowan Creek is on) There might be a camping spot at approx: 37.697027, -83.669218

If you want to go scout more on a weekend let me know. Might bring the wife for her first off road experience

Also interested in random scouting/area familiarization trips.
Especially as it gets hotter and the camping gets less fun lol

I didn’t check out your truck too closely, do you have a winch to pull out my trail whale if it gets stuck? (Doesn’t happen often). I’ll have one in due time but I’m rolling light for now.

You’ve got my number if you want to shoot me a text. A small group of 2-3 trucks would be a lot of fun on a random weekend.

Sweet. I'm definitely down to go down there more frequently, I've been to a lot of the areas on a bike, so it would be cool to explore in a truck and see what's passable/not and where good camping spots could be.
