I've had the pro grille since I took delivery of the truck and I hadn't noticed until now that the bottom corners of the where the grille meets the shroud are a bit rattley/unsecured. You can press on them and it will depress and make a plastic rattle noise but the rest of the grille is tight around the shroud.

Anyone else notice this on theirs?

It’s plastic, and my OR with OEM chesegrater does the same- even on dirt roads by itself.

Pro Grille, both OEM and Chinese is a rattley piece of crap. I love the Pro Grille look, so I gotta have it, but what a disappointment on quality. My chrome cheese grater was a much nicer piece of kit, but......chrome...

bummer, but at least it's normal I guess. Definitely expected a better fit/finish.

Hmm, mine does not rattle. I wonder if some of the clips broke during install?

The OEM Pro grill I put on my SR5 is tight and solid.

I blame this on the car motor.

If the third gen had a TRUCK motor in it, the grill would fit tighter. The second then never had this issue.

    Stupid third gen. Stupid Toyota.

Well, I feel better now about buying the Chinese piece of crap.

I’d have been incensed to pay $400 for an OE only to have those gaps there.

If I could do it again I'd have just done the SR5 surround and called it a day.

I mean, its a large plastic piece held in by plastic tabs and sheer will, so chances are, there's going to be some play.

Meh, my SR5 grill creaks and groans all the time when I wash it. It makes it feel cheap, it's just how these things are, not specific to the pro grill.

    ....but what can ya do?

I had a OEM Pro grill on my 2016 OR and no rattles. Just traded it in and bought a 2019 TRD Pro and no rattles either.

Will be selling the OEM TRD Pro grill from my 2016 if anyone is interested.
