Performance street tire and wheel setup

There are plenty of threads on offroad and snow tires. This one is about street performance tires.

My stock tires are about halfway done, time to start shopping

I'm running stock TRDOR suspension but might add a subtle lift someday, 1.5" max.

I've got plenty of storage so I'm thinking of going with three dedicated tire/wheel setups I can swap out based on what I'm doing this week. (Street / Dirt / Snow). Got my dirt and snow needs figured out.

I'm looking to run 18" or 19" rims with a fairly aggressive performance tire.
Is there a 275mm tire that will fit ?

Would love to see/hear your recommendations for street setups.

These trucks don't handle or brake well, especially with a lift.

I found a serious improvement in terms of roll and dive when I put in stiffer digressive shocks.

Sorry I can't suggest tires.

 

275/55R19 is roughly the same diameter as the stock 265/70R16. It's only wider by a little bit so should fit without rubbing issues.

I used Michelin Pilot Super Sport on my Mustang. Pricey but great street tires.

 

Ive got a street truck and i plan on going with some Nitto 420s when i need tires again

 

Im gonna run 275/60/17 on my stock sport wheels

 

Yeah I've had a great experience with those michelin's too.

 

Enough that I'm not worrying about damage to the rim.

Maybe 275/40/R19 ? Just worried I won't like the look.
