I totally agree, part of my frustration is that I bought this truck with the plan of going through it and making it my daily.

I do have the Yaris but it's not a good fit for me in terms of ergonomics or lifestyle so I have been wanting to get out of it as soon as I thought the Ford was ready.

Guess it's time to reconsider my plans

Not quite, I have the Tacoma as a toy still. I really don't want to buy another newer vehicle to daily and get reamed by my insurance/registration/etc for something I don't want.

I could get a JK or a newer Tacoma and just daily/weekend warrior that but I'm not really into the newer trucks

Not yet I'm waiting for some used OEM mounts that someone has removed to install their bodylift, waiting for some to show up for sale

Thats being sorta unreasonably cheap lol. Especially since a Energy Suspension Poly kit isnt that expensive. And TBH, I dont think Ive ever seen used body mounts for sale, always thought people just toss the old ones.

05-10 Tacos are going down in price. Pretty much matches the price of some used 1st gens.

I have a question for anyone that can answer and if this is the wrong place to do so please ignore. I recently bought an 01’ v6 4x4 that was previously regeared to 4.88s to run 35’s, I’m running 33’s and it’s pretty dang over geared. My question is what are my options to get to 4.10s? Have it professional done locally or via ecgs? Or used 3rd members? Any information would be greatly appreciated and if you’d be interested in helping in anyway and are local to the Bay Area the 4.88s are all yours! Thanks!

This is why I'm fine waiting around until some pop up. Same way I scored 4 new Michelin LTX 265/70R16 mounted and balanced on some ugly 2nd gen wheels today for 370 bucks. Not in a hurry. When they show up I'll be ready.
