I have a question for anyone that can answer and if this is the wrong place to do so please ignore. I recently bought an 01’ v6 4x4 that was previously regeared to 4.88s to run 35’s, I’m running 33’sand it’s pretty dang over geared. My question is what are my options to get to 4.10s? Have it professional done locallyor via ecgs? Or used 3rd members? Anyinformation would be greatly appreciatedand if you’d be interested in helping inanyway and are local to the Bay Area the4.88s are all yours! Thanks!

Not to throw a wrench in your plan. Might be cheaper to buy dirty fives ?? i mean if the gears are good you're gonna pay a good bit of labor to swap them. If you found a set of axles or traded with someone you run the risk of some issues down the road any time you mess with stuff you never know. I usually seem to break more stuff that way at least.

Or you can add some power to counter act that lag. Super charger :) :turtleride:

No it wouldn’t. Make it fun to drive though!

I’ll echo the 35” tires would be the easiest.

Another alternative is to trade someone differentials. I’m sure lots of people would be happy to and do the labor (and seal kits) for you. I know I would if I was I the market.

I guess I should read ahead a bit. I usually take off where I left off.

@Gatordawg ... just so ya know... @BartMaster1234 is running 4.30s

I know this because I bought my 4.10 front diff from him, because it wouldn't work for his swap... because he has 4.30.
