Your answers will vary by groups of pavement pounders and actual off roaders.

My suggestion is to drive the truck and improve what you find to need improvement as you go.

I will say a bed mat will be favored by both camps.

wow, when I think of "Mod", I am actually thinking of a modification to the truck. But if you think "bed mats", "tint", and "changing dome lights" are true modification to a truck, I really need to lower my standards. I always 'thought' a modification was a change to the suspension, wheels, frame, or performance enhancements to the engine. I guess I'm the odd one out there.

but to be fair, I'm game then:

    1. Tint
    2. Bed Mat
    3. New Cup holder
    4. Huskey Liner floor mat
    5. Chrome exhaust tip

I thought I had a bada$$ truck before, now, I'm ready for some serious off-roading. Baja 1000 here I come.

    Mine is a Sport but so far I have;

    1) OEM bedmat, never leave home without it.
    2) BFG KO2s
    3) Black chrome exhaust tip
    4) remove air dam, doesn't apply to your truck
    5) changed painted lower valence for a matte black lower valence

Thanks for all the input guys, so far I only have:

    1. TRD Pro grille
    2. rekgen mud flaps
    3. Bed mat
    4. Seat covers
    5. Black wheel inlays
    6. Hard Tonneau which I need to sell
    7. MBRP Exhaust

I was looking for something more substantial in terms of suspension, wheels/tires, adding a Hood Scoop, rock sliders and probably tinting the windows and doing a roof wrap.

I’d love to do the BHLM and squadron pro fogs as well.

A few thousand doesn’t go very far though when you consider all the possibilities.

The end goal is to build something prepared for Armageddon :anonymous:

Don't forget to crank the coilovers to the moon, tell everyone there's no long term negative impact on the cv, and then sell the rig 7 months later

The Kicker tweeter and speaker upgrade is pretty nice for a low dollar mod.

What’s so good about the “Pro-Grille”? Seems very popular and I’m not seeing the value. Is it strictly ascetics?

My new truck (19 trd or) came with Toyota all weather mats. Are the weathertech a lot better? If so, in what way? Sorry for the extra question but my truck was perfect and then I start reading this all!:D

It's a black grill that says Toyota.

I'm sure if it just said "pro" a significant less amount of people would have got it. But since it's more of a Toyota grill, and much better than say a chrome grill on an off road truck... It'll do.

If you do any off-roading, #1 should be skid plate, as the stock OR skid plate is the same thickness as a tin can. #2 should be tires.
