Yep.
I run a 20lb. It's like $35 at the commercial gas exchange. It'll fill my pizza cutters from 12psi to 55psi in less than a minute a tire. One tank lasts me more than a dozen refills. I've seen the mathematical breakdown and, according to the math, a 3000psi 20lb tank will fill 33's around 30 times.

I built a simple brass regulator to bring the pressure down to 150psi and use a 300psi (working pressure, 3k burst) hose rated to -40C.

It's simple, easy, low profile, and highly effective. I don't need to run air tools, I got man hands.

Like I said, it's very simple. There's no real points of failure as long as you take care of the hose. And, each time you get another can, it has been professionally inspected to make sure it's safe for use. If you don't like the can they offer, just ask for another or swap it for the newest looking one in the bunch and you're good to go, completely worry-free.

I found my first can on Craigslist for like $40. I like the 20lb'er but the 10'ers have a lot more commercially available mounting solutions.
