    But not many places are willing to give a host position to someone without them putting in time. Many volunteer positions are compensated....free camping, maybe a small amount for reimbursement for fuel, etc. Our volunteer force is usually over 100, closer to 120-125. Our hosts are volunteers. Not all agencies or districts within the same agency treat their volunteers the same.

    Dan I am so sorry to hear that. It made me go and look at the card the Vet office sent me after Snipers last visit to the vet, and pictures I have of him. I swear that it gets harder each time. There are no words I have that can make it easier. About all I can come up with is that the memories will always be there and worth every one of them, but you already know that.
