I bought some used 5100's they seem great except that the rubber at the top of the body the one that holds the shock in place at the top seems to have been over tightened and that has caused dry rot. anyone know where i can get a new rubber bushing? how tight is tight enough? also the coil seems to have a bit of a bend in it (its closer to one side of the shock in the middle than the other) is this normal without any weight on it? thanks.

The spring isolator can be had at the dealer ship for about $20.00 each. IIRC. Not sure of any shops online that carry them.,

its not the spring isolator i don't think its the rubber that the shock bolt goes through. the spring isolator is in great shape.
