Okay, got an update. After reseating the bulbs and taking the Taco out for a spin, I did the ol' "find a dark parking lot" and adjusted the lamps. I actually had to raise the aim up a little and point the driver side headlamp back to the left a little. I think it came out okay, no one flashed me this time around. Here are a few pictures:low beam street.jpg

Check engine light came on, instant loss of power, really terrible mpg's. like 5-8mpg freeway. I've dealt with this before on my 4runner, so I knew what it was prior to pulling the code. P0325 "Knock sensor 1". I think the truck just really wanted to nudge me to get the blower put on.

I love mine. Use their Nitrous one in my go fast car, too. Slick setups.

My truck is at the paintshop since two months now and they didn't even start working on it yet :(

Went to ask what was going on and he says he's too busy and that I should go elsewhere because he doesn't expect to have time anytime soon either :pout:

To help him save time, I tore down the truck for him. It's in pieces and I have to put it back together.... Could keep waiting but I need my truck now :/

Then other paintshops don't really want to do my truck, they prefer insurance jobs instead... sigh, what do I do?

That sucks but I’d get it out of that shop. Unacceptable to offer a service that you can’t deliver then waste two months of your time only to back out. If that’s what he thinks is acceptable customer treatment I’d hate to see what he thinks is an acceptable paint job.

you must live in a remote part that has not many choices?
why would the other places not want to take care of you and your truck?
it's your money and why would they pass out on it?

It still looks like you are way high. Have a buddy drive in the opposite direction and see where you are hitting then. My guess is right in their face. Flashing isn't a go to for proper lighting alignment.

are you going to be able to listen to some classical symphonic works with minimal background (road/engine noise) when this is completed?

    Stuff. Also things.
Reinforce the rear of the frame and finally relocate the shocks. It’s been way too long with the rear suspension sucking and the front suspension doing all the work.

I’m beginning to think this is either a 13 year old199628F7-FBCA-4D35-B6D6-2769CF404EE2.jpg or maybe it’s a “Kyle” from his posting history.
