Anyone want some like new shocks off of an 07 (I think) sport? I also have leafs from a 15 off-road. Both are basically brand new and now they're just sitting in my garage since the wouldn't fit on the tundra haha

How do I turn off email alerts? Somehow today I started getting an email every time someone posts to one of my watches threads, needless to say, that’s a lot of spam!

I figured it out, there’s an option in the actual email. No idea how I got signed up for email alerts, that was annoying.

I’m hoping it rains in the upstate soon for the sake of this grass. Would help my water bill haha. We haven’t had ran in like 26-27 days now.

My grass is crispy. When I mow it turns to dust and blows away. Looked great in March and April, a couple weeks of 90+ degrees and no rain destroyed it.

Yup. Thank goodness I'm on well water otherwise my water bill would suck. Been throwing water on it every morning for a month or so and it still looks crispy. I guess 105 degree heat will do it!

Take it for what it’s worth but my neighbor who owns a landscaping business told me a few years ago not to plant grass this time of year.

He said you plant in the fall when it starts to cool down at night (mid to September - early October). The weeds and crabgrass are starting to die that time of year but grass seed will germinate.

Plant/feed/water and the grass gets established before going dormant in winter. Next year put down a pre-emergent (end of February - early March) to prevent weed and crabgrass germination. Grass is established from the prior year and this will not hurt it.

According to him if you plant in spring/summer the grass is competing with germinating crabgrass and weeds...and the weeds will win the turf war, they grow too fast and aggressive.

100 percent correct. My problem was I excavated for the concrete I poured and had nothing but red clay everywhere. Every time it rained it was eroding more and more ground. The back of my house was cleared when they built and no grass was planted. Dogs are constantly covered in mud and it looked terrible. Didn’t really have a choice but to plant now and try to get something established to keep the erosion at bay. I plant to over-seed in the fall and spring.
